Tough Crowd: An Evening with Yvonne Tham & Joshua Ip

Building and sustaining communities in a competitive environment is tough, as is leading a non-profit in commercially-driven Singapore where audiences have many options on how to direct their leisure time.

These challenges have not stopped Yvonne Tham, CEO-Designate of The Esplanade Co., and Joshua Ip, founder of Singlit Station and 2017 National Arts Council Young Artist Award winner from creating new spaces and forms for arts activity to grow and thrive. To achieve this, they continue to galvanise groups, teams and conversations to rouse recurring, meaningful engagement and long-range impact.
Join us as they share personal stories of grit, hard work and entrepreneurial thinking, where their good ideas and strategies have come from, and how to have fun along the way.

Date: Thursday 12th July, 7-9pm
Location: Straits Clan, The Attic on Level 4
