“What Can I Do?” – Innovating for Society
An Evening with Cherie Lim-Tseng, Kevin Teo & Yong Yoek Ling

Philanthropists donate money and volunteers commit their energy to causes. But increasingly, many individuals are responding to the question of “what can I do” by contributing their entrepreneurial spirit to drive change through new organisations and ventures — sometimes outside of their own day jobs or as dedicated, full-time pursuits.

This Feed session features 3 social innovators who have each gone on distinct journeys, building alternative models and staying the course for their personal visions. We’ll ask where their grit comes from, how to channel scarce, in-demand resources towards philanthropic interests or underserved areas with intangible returns, and still juggle the bread and butter issues.

This session is a collaboration with the Birthday Collective, which publishes the Birthday Book each year around National Day, featuring the voices of emerging and established Singaporeans from disparate walks of life, who deeply care and actively participate in building Singapore's future.
